Barber Motorsports Park Announces 2006 Race Schedule, New Website

ZOOM MOTORSPORTS ANNOUNCES 2006 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR THE BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK (Birmingham, Ala.)- Zoom Motorsports, the exclusive event promoters for the Barber Motorsports Park, are pleased to announce a new look to its current website in conjunction with the release its schedule for the 2006 racing season. The schedule will consist of ten major event weekends beginning with the World Karting Association-Big South Series March 30-April 2 and concluding with the AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association) National Roadrace Series and the 2nd Annual Barber Vintage Festival on October 20-22. For the fourth consecutive year, Barber Motorsports Park will host the Honda Superbike Classic April 21-23 as part of the AMA Superbike Series and the Porsche 250 as part of the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series July 28-30. The 2006 season will also feature two new events the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association and the Mustang Club of America. The Mustang Club of America will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2006 over Labor Day weekend.
