A private Superbike test held Tuesday at California Speedway was interrupted when a crew member suffered an irregular heartbeat and had to be transported to a local hospital by the only ambulance on site. Testing was delayed while Yoshimura Suzuki’s Rhett Lougheed was transported; the ambulance returned to the track about an hour later, and testing continued. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin, Aaron Yates and Ben Spies were joined at the test by American Honda’s Miguel Duhamel.
