Jackie Martin Pfeifer, 67, of Santa Clarita, California, died May 13 at St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California. No cause of death was given. Pfeifer is survived by his wife, Yvonne; two daughters, Laurie and Kristi; and two sons, Frank and Jack. The death of his father combined with a race hauler breakdown resulted in Jack Pfeifer skipping the AMA round at Infineon Raceway and participating in the May 20-21 WSMC round at Willow Springs International Raceway, in Rosamond, California, which is closer to his Las Vegas home.
