Race entries are down this year for the AMA Superbike National At Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, with fewer riders entering each class. In 2005, 42 riders entered Superbike, and 42 qualified. In 2006, 41 riders entered Superbike, and 35 qualified. In 2005, 39 riders entered Supersport, and 39 qualified. In 2006, 34 riders entered Supersport, and 31 qualified. In 2005, 32 riders entered Superstock, and 30 qualified. In 2006, 29 riders entered Superstock, and 27 qualified. In 2005, 36 riders entered Formula Xtreme, and 35 qualified. In 2006, 35 riders entered Formula Xtreme, and 32 qualified. In 2005, the race weekend drew 149 entries. In 2006, the race weekend drew 139 entries.
