Two-time FMV Venezuelan Superbike Champion Fernando Amantini finished 18th in the AMA Supersport race at VIR Sunday, riding a Kawasaki ZX-6R on Dunlop tires. Colombian Santiago Villa finished 16th in the AMA Superstock race at VIR Sunday, riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 on Dunlop tires. FIM Latin American and FMV Venezuelan Superbike Champion Robertino Pietri missed Superstock qualifying (and the race) because he crashed both his bikes and his team ran out of repair parts.
