Doug Polen is the 1991 and 1992 Superbike World Champion, the 1993 AMA Superbike Champion, the 1995 Suzuka 8-hour winner, etc. These days he applies his race craft in his 1ON1 riding schools. We chanced upon him on the AMA grid at Road America where he was primarily working with Bobby Fong for the weekend, and Polen was suited up and ready to race.
