Selpe Wins CCS Pirelli Diablo 600cc Challenge At VIRginia International Raceway

Danville, VA, USA – June 20, 2010 – Despite an early challenge from James Fotinopoulos, Mike Selpe managed to land his second Pirelli Diablo 600 Challenge win in last three starts. All of those races he finished on the podium. Selpe took the first at Summit just two weeks ago and here at Virginia International Raceway took the second in impressive fashion in spite of running off course late in the race. Russ Proctor was third. All rider were aboard Yamaha R6s. Selpe and Fotinopoulos are both based in West Orange, New Jersey. Russell Proctor hails from Wake Forest, North Carolina. The Championship Cup Series (CCS) is the largest grass roots motorcycle road racing organization in the United States with 4,000 licensed riders. The Series runs 51 events at popular tracks around the united states. Tracks include Road America, Daytona, Loudon, Firebird, Heartland Park, and Virginia International among other fine venues.
