Dorna Sports, the rights holder of the FIM MotoGP World Championship, signed a deal on Tuesday that could see the premier motorcycle road racing series holding events in Argentina from 2013 through 2015, according to a posting on the official MotoGP website. The race would be held at the 2.7-mile Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo, which is located in Termas de Rio Honda, which is about 550 miles northwest of the country’s capital city Buenos Aires. The deal is contingent on the circuit being brought up to MotoGP safety standards, according to the report.
