Former AFM President Joe Montoya died Sunday while riding his streetbike, after a car crossed a double yellow line on Redwood Road in Castro Valley, California and hit him. According to the local California Highway Patrol website, the crash occurred at 4:17 p.m. and Montoya was declared dead at the scene. Montoya, who we believe was in his mid-50s, raced as Team Bozo with his brother Wayne and ran AFM North for 17 years, from 1989 through 2005. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
