AMA Pro Road Racing opened a two-day test Tuesday at the brand new NOLA Motorsports Park, located just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. Nearly all of the regular teams competing full-time in the series have traveled down from Barber Motorsports Park, where they raced this past weekend, to get a head start on learning the new 2.75-mile, 16-turn road course and facility. NOLA Motorsports Park is scheduled to host the 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale October 5-7. Weather conditions for the test are sunny and very hot and humid.
