Honda gift for Simoncelli’s Honda Racing Corporation has given today to Paolo and Rossella Simoncelli two bikes in honour and memory of their son, Marco. Marco’s RC212V race machine and a ‘Super Sic’ inspired Honda CBR1000RR were unveiled at Mugello circuit in an emotional ceremony in front of the paddock community, that wanted to join Marco’s family on this special date. Shuhei Nakamoto, HRC Executive Vice President, presented the 2011 race machine number 58, that will be displayed in the Simoncelli Museum. Minoru Kato, Honda Europe Motorcycle Division Director, unveiled a special Honda CBR1000RR, designed by Aldo Drudi and inspired by a ‘Super Sic’ livery. This bike will be auctioned off on Ebay in the next weeks to raise money for the Marco Simoncelli Foundation and it will be presented to the winner at EICMA Milan in November.
