Blackhawk Farms Raceway Continues Track Improvements in Preparation for the ASRA/CCS/USGPRU Race Weekend Turn 1 & Turn 7 Repave Completed (July 20th – South Beloit, IL) Blackhawk Farms Raceway is pleased to announce that it has completed the current phase of track improvements with two new repaved sections applied to Turns 1 and 7. “We are very happy to complete this in time for our upcoming national race weekend,” said Kathleen Casey, Events Coordinator, Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Securing asphalt companies during peak summer work season, Blackhawk Farms Raceway dedicated the necessary resources to assure completion of these improvements prior to the ASRA/CCS/USGPRU national race event weekend on July 21-22. Feedback from racers: “BFR did a great job. The traction on the new sections are great and the transitions are really smooth” said Mike Garner, AMA Pro #94. “It’s really awesome, super smooth, with tons of grip,” said Jason Farrell, AMA Pro #86, Blackhawk Farms Raceway Track Champion and current track record holder. “The track will be really fast this weekend.” he added.
