TONI ELIAS WILL RIDE THE PRAMAC RACING TEAM’S DUCATI IN BRNO Without a rest after a gruelling weekend in Indianapolis the Pramac Racing Team heads straight back across the Atlantic. The team will begin preparations for the Grand Prix of Czech Republic at the Brno circuit this weekend. The Pramac Racing Team has confirmed that Toni Elias will once again substitute for Héctor Barberà, who sustained fractured vertebrae in a crash during the first free practice session at Indy. For Toni, the Czech track is a special place: in 2008, for example, he was able to achieve a great second place aboard the Ducati Pramac, after a thrilling race. All the conditions are there for a positive weekend, also thanks to the improved feeling of Elias riding the White and Green Ducati, after the two American rounds. Toni Elias Pramac Racing Team Rider “I’m really excited about going to the Czech Republic with the Pramac Racing Team and I feel very honoured to be confirmed as a substitute, for this 12th round of the season. I will stand in with the Green Energy Team for the third time and my feeling, both with the bike and the team, is increasing a lot compared to the Laguna Seca race. Brno is one of my favourite tracks, because it’s technical and fast and these features allow riders to get the full potential of their bike. I have great memories here in Brno and they are a big stimulus to catch a good result also this year.”
