Manuel Gonzalez was quickest during Moto2 World Championship Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at Silverstone Circuit, in England. Riding his Pirelli-shod Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Kalex on the 3.67-mile (5.90 km) track, the Spaniard recorded a 2:02.333 to lead the field of 28 riders.

Barry Baltus was the best of the rest with a 2:02.826 on his REDS Fantic Racing Kalex. 

Filip Salac was third-fastest with a 2:03.107 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.

American Joe Roberts finished the opening session in 15th with a 2:03.860 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.
