Levi Badie to Substitute for Injured Elisa Gendron Belen at MotoAmerica Mid-Ohio Twins Cup Round

BGB Racing Announces Rider Change Following Weekend Racing Accident

BGB Racing has announced that Levi Badie will compete in the MotoAmerica SC-Project Twins Cup round at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course next weekend, replacing injured racer Elisa Gendron Belen.

Gendron Belen was competing in the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days/ASRA races this past weekend to gain valuable track time ahead of the upcoming MotoAmerica event. During Friday’s opening practice, what initially appeared to be a routine low-side crash on a green track quickly turned into a serious incident when a following rider was unable to avoid her and struck her after the fall.

As a result of the accident, Gendron Belen suffered multiple fractures to her pelvis and sacrum. While her recovery timeline is still being evaluated, her injuries will unfortunately prevent her from competing at next weekend’s MotoAmerica round at Mid-Ohio.

Stepping into the BGB Racing entry is Levi Badie, Elisa’s husband, who has been enjoying a successful season aboard the Speed Farm Racing #8 Harley-Davidson Road Glide in the Bagger Racing League Pro Stock class. The Belgian rider has already earned multiple podium finishes in 2026, including a second-place finish (P2) during this past weekend’s AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days/ASRA event.

The entire BGB Racing and Speed Farm teams wish Elisa a full and speedy recovery and look forward to seeing Levi represent the team at Mid-Ohio while she begins the healing process.
