Shelina Moreda to race Spyke’s Harley-Davidson XR1200 in 2013 AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series Frankfort, IN — Spyke’s Harley-Davidson is proud to announce the support of Shelina Moreda in the 2013 AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series. Moreda will debut her #93 Spyke’s H-D/She’z Racing XR1200 in next week’s season opener at Daytona International Speedway. “I’ve been wanting to ride a Harley again since I raced at Indy in 2011,” said the Californian, “It was an awesome experience and fun to be a part of history. I’m excited to finally get back on a Harley, especially with support from such a top notch team like Spyke’s Harley-Davidson. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the XR1200 and I can’t wait to get out on the high banks of Daytona.” Moreda made history in 2011 as the first female to ever race a motorcycle at Indianapolis Motor Speedway while competing in the AMA Pro XR1200 series doubleheader at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. She will start her 5th season of road racing competition in 2013. “We are very excited to be partnering with Shelina Moreda for the 2013 season,” said Dan Bell, Owner of Spyke’s Clinton County Harley-Davidson, “She is a very passionate individual with a great head on her shoulders, and we believe that she will greatly enhance our efforts to reach female customers.
