FIM Motocross World Championship To Be Broadcast On beIN SPORT TV

FIM MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 LAUNCHES SEASON OF COVERAGE ON beIN SPORT What: Expanding its coverage of international sports to the world of motocross, beIN SPORT, America’s fastest-growing TV network, will air the entire FIM Motocross World Championship 2013 season beginning with the Grand Prix of Thailand. The second FIM Motocross World Championship Grand Prix of the year will be the first ever motorsport grand prix in Thailand, boasting a new, off-road track of 1,550 meters. Current point leaders, Clement Desalle (MX1) and Jeffrey Herlings (MX2), will try to increase their point leads over a competitive field all aiming to become the Grand Prix motocross world champion by season’s end. The FIM Motocross World Championship began in 1957 and has since become one of the premier motocross racing championships in the world. The races are split up into three classes: MX1 (500cc engine), MX2 (250cc engine) and MX3 (125cc engine). The winner of the FIM Motocross World Championship is the motocross rider with the most points at the end of the season.
