Team Suzuki International Europe rider Nina Prinz raced to second place in the Qatar International Road Racing Championship third round at Losail in Doha and now holds third position in the series. Prinz (30) followed home GSX-R1000 team mate and Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) 2013 stand-in rider Alex Cudlin in rainy conditions that caused the second race to be cancelled. Said Prinz: “The conditions were terrible. It was really difficult to find the limit because it rained with different intensity. Leaving the track with zero points twice this year I didn’t want to risk too much so it was good to secure second place. “On April 4th and 5th, there’s the season highlight with the Grand Prix of Qatar. It would be great if we could be on the top of the Qatar International Road Racing Championship podium then. I need a victory now.” The fourth round of seven in the series will be held in conjunction with the opening round of the MotoGP World Championship. Result Race: 1 Alex Cudlin (AUS/ Suzuki) – 15 laps/ 34:37,522mins, 2. Nina Prinz (D/ Suzuki) +26,591secs, 3. Mashel Al Naimi (Q/ Honda) + 37,944, 4. Saeed Ibrahim Al Sulaiti (Q/ BMW) + 47,096, 5. Fahid Al Sowaidi (Q/ Honda) + 56,127. Overall Standings (after 5 races): 1. Alex Cudlin 104 points, 2. Mashel Al Naimi 75, 3. Nina Prinz 60, 4. Saeed Ibrahim Al Sulaiti 60.
