Former World Champion Kevin Schwantz To Appear At Ducati Austin April 18

Kevin Schwantz to appear at Ducati Austin store Ducati Austin in collaboration with Dainese is excited to host an afternoon with 1993 World Champion and Texas Legend #34 Kevin Schwantz. The Texan native will be special guest of the day Thursday April 18th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Ducati Austin store at 812 E. Braker Lane, Austin, TX. Kevin Schwantz is one of the most celebrated racers from what many consider the fiercest period of international motorcycle competition. The Bikes were 500cc two-stroke beasts and the riders were among the best of all times. Schwantz battled mightily against the likes of Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson and Mick Doohan. The latter described Schwantz “as the fastest person he ever raced.” Schwantz racked up 25 MotoGP wins total in his career. Born and raised in Houston, Schwantz now makes his home in the Austin area and runs the Kevin Schwantz School (www.schwantzschool.com). He is also mentor and coach to a new generation of Riders influencing the likes of Valentino Rossi and others. Kevin will be sharing his thoughts on the exciting beginning of the MotoGP season.
