The following is a statement issued by motorcycle road racing TV commentator Greg White: “For the past 11 years, I’ve had the privilege to commentate the AMA Pro Racing series, missing just one event in that span. I love the sport of Superbike racing. My involvement with the sport has allowed me to be colleagues with the amazing people associated with the teams and race organization, but above all, I was afforded the pleasure to be around the fans, who have no equal when it comes to passion for their sport. “I say with a heavy heart that after 11 amazing years I will no longer be involved in the television broadcast of AMA Pro Racing. I wish the new team of commentators the very best for the coming seasons. Although I currently have no plans to attend the AMA Pro Races, I will be watching the CBS Sports Network as a loyal fan. “I will continue to commentate MotoGP races in the United States for SPEED/FOXSport1, as well as, producing episodes of my new web based power-sports lifestyle show titled Greg’s Garage ( www.gregsgaragetv.com ). “Thank you to all who have supported my efforts over the 15 years I’ve covered AMA Superbike racing. I have made life-long friends and have enjoyed my time in the paddock.”
