Rochester, NY (May 30, 2013) – Five-time AMA XR1200 race winner Kyle Wyman will compete in the remainder of the 2013 AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Series aboard a 2013 Triumph Daytona 675R, beginning with the upcoming Subway Superbike Doubleheader at Road America, May 31 – June 2, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. “The competition in the Daytona SportBike class is fantastic and I’m really excited to be back in that field,” said the Rochester, NY native. “I’ve been watching the Triumph closely the last few years and have ridden it both stock and in race trim. We already have a good base set-up and expect to have a very competitive program. I can’t wait to get to Road America. I have a really good feeling about this.” The new Triumph will be fielded as the Millennium Technologies Kyle Wyman Racing entry with support from Cycle Stop Triumph, Ballistic Performance Components, Arai, Cortech, Held USA and Sidi. “We are excited about expanding our partnership with Kyle Wyman and thrilled with the opportunity to race the new Triumph 675R in AMA Daytona Sportbike,” said Raleigh Wood, Director of Sales and Marketing Millennium Technologies. “Millennium Technologies has a long history of supporting teams in the AMA Pro paddock. Kyle approached us after Daytona with an opportunity to be the title sponsor of his Daytona SportBike program and we knew this would be a perfect fit. We are very excited to see what Kyle can do this year on the new Triumph, starting at Road America, which is just 5 miles from our manufacturing facility. Wyman, 23, started the 2013 season with a second place finish in the XR1200 event at Daytona. In the last three years he finished in the top 10 in that class’ points standings, including seventh in 2012, fifth in 2011, and ninth in 2010.
