Scott Russell Headlines Seattle 100 Charity Event Five-time Daytona 200 winner and former World Superbike Champion Scott Russell will be the headline VIP guest at the this year’s Ducati Seattle – Seattle 100 -Presented by 2Fast. The fundraising event will be held on Saturday, July 27th, 2013 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington. Seattle 100 Charities is very excited to have Scott come share his passion for winning, racing motorcycles and fun in only the way the he can. It will absolutely be THE event of 2013 in the Northwest. Proceeds from the trackday will benefit Camp Korey (www.campkorey.org), a summer camp that serves children with serious and life-threatening medical conditions who have never had the opportunity to enjoy the typical summer camp experience so many of us have been blessed to have. Many of the kids that come to Camp Korey have spent the majority of their life in a hospital, and after attending the camp, share that it is “the greatest experience they have ever had.” Camp Korey covers all expenses for the children to attend their summer camps which are held at the incredible facilities at the old Carnation Farms compound in Carnation, WA. Started in 2003, the Seattle 100 event has given the NW track riding community the opportunity to ride on the racetrack with their racing heroes while raising money for life’s real heroes; those battling life threatening or debilitating diseases. Past VIP racers include Ben Spies, Mat Mladin, Josh Hayes, Chaz Davies, Danny Eslick, Jason DiSalvo, Aaron Yates, Jason Pridmore, Jake Holden, Jake Zemke, Elena Myers and others. Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $500 in donations from friends and family for the “ride-athon” with a goal of raising a total of $100,000 for Camp Korey. The day ends with an intimate evening banquet, VIP panel discussion and live auction. You can register to attend the event at 2Fast’s website here: www.2-fast.org/eshop/cart.php More information on the event can be found at www.seattle100.com or on the Seattle 100 Charity’s Facebook page https://facebook.com/Seattle100Charities
