A huge crowd turned out to buy the new Czech translation of “A Twist of the Wrist, II” and to get American author Keith Code’s autograph on Saturday of the MotoGP weekend at Brno. The combined book sale and signing event was organized by the Brno Circuit, which published the Czech translation of the pioneering book on controlling a motorcycle at speed. “A Twist Of the Wrist, II” has proven popular with racers and track-day riders worldwide, in the original English-language version and in various translations. Czech MotoGP racer Karel Abraham did the rider notes for the Czech-language version and also helped with the translation. The translated book will serve as the official textbook of the Brno Circuit’s riding school. “I was surprised to find out how many Czech riders already know the book and companion DVD,” said Code. Besides attending the book sale and autograph session, Code also watched long-time student Joe Roberts compete at Brno. The young Californian finished fourth in the Red Bull Rookies Cup race on Saturday, setting a new class lap record in the process. Code is a former racer and the founder of the California Superbike School.
