Get in on the race action as the West’s most dynamic roadracing club hosts the opening round of its Winter Series on September 21 and 22 at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in Desert Center, CA. The opening round will feature a packed schedule; with massive grids in multiple classes and even three-wheeled sidecar action. Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association was created by racers for racers, and utilizes a unique format to insure that riders get maximum track time. Qualifying sessions held on Saturday morning are used to set the grids for all races, and a full schedule of sprints is held on both days, with longer, “Shootout” races on Sunday for the premier classes. A simple rulebook and straightforward class structures make it easy to get in on the action and find a fun, competitive class for you and your motorcycle. Maximize your track time and your chance for a podium finish with a trackday, hosted by TrackDaz the Friday proceeding all race weekends. The 17-turn, 2.68-mile Chuckwalla circuit is California’s newest track, and was created by noted track designer Ed Bargy. The smooth, wide circuit plays host to a variety of turns and has ample run-off for increased safety. Additionally, CVMA keeps two ambulances on site to insure everyone’s wellbeing and to help avoid delays in the race action when a rider needs medical attention. CVMA. It’s club racing done right.
