Round 2 of CVMA’s Winter Series Southern California’s Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association racing action continues this weekend, October 26-27, with Round 2 of the 2013-2014 Winter Road Racing Series. Round 1 saw some heavy hitters make it out to the desert for valuable seat time during the off-season. Names like Benny Solis and Chris Peris took to the track with Solis rounding out the weekend with seven class victories under perfect weather conditions which we expect again for Round 2. If you are a club racer near, or far, from Southern California, pack up the family and get out to the races this weekend. CVMA is offering free reciprocity to our brothers and sisters from other road racing clubs including AFM and MRA. CVMA offers two full days of racing every race weekend and also including Saturday qualifying for grid position in all classes, amateur and expert along with a wide variety of classes to choose from. The 17-turn, 2.68-mile Chuckwalla circuit is California’s newest track, and was created by noted track designer Ed Bargy. The smooth, wide circuit plays host to a variety of turns and has ample run-off for increased safety. Additionally, CVMA keeps two ambulances on site to insure everyone’s wellbeing and to help avoid delays in the race action when a rider needs medical attention. CVMA. It’s club racing done right.
