Colorado Springs——–Fans of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb can purchase their tickets now for the 92nd running of the Race To The Clouds On America’s Mountain on the race’s official website, www.ppihc.com.

Advance purchase of tickets for the nation’s second oldest motor sports race behind the Indianapolis 500 will assure fans a spot on the 12.42-mile course with 156 turns featuring some of the best auto drivers and motorcycle racers in the world.

Purchasing tickets online means a $10.00 savings for all fans. Race week purchases at locations in the city as well as the race toll gate will be $50.00.

Fans can also purchase practice day tickets during race week to check out the competitors and their autos and motorcycle during qualification runs on the course on early mornings.

The 91st edition of the storied Pikes Peak International Hill Climb last summer saw new records in several areas, beginning with the amazing 8:13.878 clocking turned in by Sebastien Loeb of France that smashed the previous mark by almost a minute and one half!

The Peugeot driver stunned the field with his historic performance in his 208 T16 Pikes Peak in the Unlimited class, the big one in a day of records by the 162 competitors who challenged America’s on a day that included sunshine, clouds, rain, hail and snow – nothing new for the race. A crowd estimated at 8,093 race fans, officials, accredited news media, driver and racer crews lined the course to watch the excitement. A total of 4,600 general admission tickets were sold for the day
