Upper Arlington, OH – The Ohio Department of Veteran Services (DVS) recognized VETMotorsports for their outstanding work in helping disabled veterans through motorsports programs. Ohio DVS Director Timothy Gorrell presented VETMotorsports Executive Director and Founder Peter Cline with a Certificate of Appreciation during the DVS Veterans Advisory Committee meeting.

The Veterans Advisory Committee is a statutory committee convened to provide advice and counsel on veterans issues. Committee members are leaders and representatives of the major veterans organizations in Ohio, including labor organizations, county veteran service offices, county commissioners, and the Attorney General’s Office. The certificate was presented to VETMotorsports for their work to help disabled veterans through their unique motor sports programs.

VETMotorsports’ Cline stated, “I gratefully accept this certificate on behalf of our veteran crew members, our donors, supporters and our Board of Directors. As we look for ways to create sustainable, long term programs in motor sports; VETMotorsports is honored to be recognized for our efforts in making a difference with post 9-11 wounded veterans. The needs of the veteran community are great, and our outreach has proven to be effective. We look forward to the opportunities and possibilities that will be presented to VETMotorsports in the future.”
