Season Opens at OVRP for the F150 4Hour Road Endurance Race

The weather is finally realizing that it’s spring, and gave us a great day at OVRP in Cuddebackville this weekend for the first race of the 2014 F150 4-Hour Road Endurance Race.

This is the third season for the series overall. But this is the first season where PJ Jacobsen’s own race promotion company will be fully promoting the race. In previous years, Bob Weiss from Weissracing.com was a co-promoter. This series would never have taken off without Bob’s dedication and hard work. Thanks from everyone for all your help!

As the event has grown, it has attracted riders from around the nation, including champions Chris Carr and Kenny Coolbeth. The start of this season seems to promise another well-attended year, with 18 teams and over 50 riders competing.

One special change to this year’s structure is our partnership with New Jersey Mini GP. This is a double win for members of both organizations, who will have the opportunity to race at both OVRP and NJMP.

While PJ himself was unfortunately not able to attend the race since he is travelling to the next stop of the World SuperBike tour, his sponsors were present. Thank you to REV’IT!, SIDI, Shoei, DesignStar3, TeterboroRAMS, Celtic Racing, Mavrix Motorsports, Moroney’s Motorsports, Ogio, Team ProMotion, Motion Pro, Saddlemen, FLY, Orient Express, FMF, and ABS Steel for their participation and support.
