MotoAmerica: Beaubier And Jacobsen 1-2 In Superbike FP1 At Brainerd

Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW teammates Cameron Beaubier and PJ Jacobsen finished first and second in MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at Brainerd International Raceway, in Minnesota. Riding his M 1000 RR, five-time Champion Beaubier led the field with a 1:31.250, which was just quicker than Jacobsen’s 1:31.520.

Defending Champion Jake Gagne was third with a 1:32.068 with his Fresh N Lean Progressive Yamaha fill-in teammate Josh Hayes was less than 0.1 second slower at 1:32.110.

Racers who will be competing in the Superbike Cup class of the Superbike races are practicing and qualifying in the Stock 1000 sessions.
