McWilliams to wear special helmet design for Silverstone MotoGP

Jeremy McWilliams will be wearing a new helmet design for his wild card appearance in Moto 2 at the Silverstone MotoGP Sep 29-31.

This one off design was created by Tom Fuller of Image Design Customs. The stunning design incorporates a new take on what Jeremy wore during his MotoGP career but has been re-invented to complement the Brough Superior Radical Carbon Fibre Moto 2 machine. It includes his iconic race number 99 in gloss, wrapped in gold leaf on a satin black base. His name appears across the rear with a special logo to commemorate his 50th year.

Jeremy said “I wanted to freshen up the design and bring it up to date. Tom has done an amazing job and I can’t wait to unveil it at Silverstone.”

Tom said “I used the classic black and gold, synonymous with motorsport through the years, and with Brough . Helmet design is very important, allowing the team to spot their rider on the track. I wish Jeremy and his team all the best”. www.imagedesigncustom.co.uk
