One Down, Five Up is the story of Michael van der Mark’s 2014 World Supersport championship campaign which started with nil points at Phillip Island in Australia. Since that February race, the 21-year-old Dutch rider has finished no lower than second, taking five race victories on his way to this year’s title that was clinched on Sunday 7 September with two rounds to spare.
