DMS Racing Team concluded the season last weekend at Homestead with two new podiums to add to the best year in terms of results for the Miami based team.

Venezuelan Armando Ferrer finished second in Expert Unlimited Supersport class and second in Superbike Expert Unlimited class, sealing a year in which he became National Champion in Superbike GP Expert Unlimited class with DMS Racing Team.

The team finished the season with 20 race wins and a total of 37 podiums in the Championship Cup Series (CCS), and also finished in the top 10 in the only race of the AMA Pro Superbike in which the team raced, in the iconic Daytona track. And as most successful, the DMS Racing Team won its first national title with Armando Ferrer.

After this phenomenal year and with the major changes taking place in races at USA, with the disappearance of the AMA Pro Superbike and the arrival of new and exciting championship MotoAmerica, the DMS Racing Team has decided take a year off in 2015, before deciding its sports strategy in 2016. It’s therefore a temporary goodbye to the competition and not a final farewell, so that within a year the Florida based team will announce its new sports projects.

The DMS Racing Team wants to thank all its sponsors in this season, especially Pretorian, Core Moto, Dunlop, Addicted by Bosi and Pit-Eck for their confidence.

And of course thank all riders in this season: Armando Ferrer, Juan Diego Rojas, Stefano Mesa, Sabrina Paiuta, Sebastiao Ferreira and Waldis Veras, who gave the best of them racing with the bikes of the team.

Mauricio Comitre, President of Direct Motorsport: “It was definitely a successful year and I want to thank to all the riders and mechanics of the team that, even in the most difficult moments, they did their best to achieve all our best results, and to sponsors who supported us at all times. Now it is time to withdraw temporarily and explore all possible options to come back stronger in 2016”.
