Galfer USA has updated its popular braided stainless steel Superbike Brake Line kits for 2015 with new direct fittings at the caliper ends.

Most OEM and aftermarket brake lines have banjo fittings and use banjo bolts and crush washers at both ends. A hollow banjo bolt runs through each banjo fitting and connects the line to the master cylinder at one end and to the caliper at the other end. Brake fluid is routed from the master cylinder through the hollow banjo bolt and through the line, then through the hollow banjo bolt at the other end and into the caliper.

Galfer USA’s new Superbike Brake Lines use a male connector that threads straight into the brake caliper. The more direct routing improves brake fluid flow, reduces brake response time, helps maintain feel at the lever and reduces the chance of air getting trapped in the system.

Galfer USA’s made-in-the-USA Superbike Brake Line kits feature Teflon inner tubing wrapped in braided stainless steel braiding with a PVC anti-abrasion coating. The kits are available for popular sportbikes.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) is $123.10 for dual-disc applications, from authorized dealers (http://www.galferusa.com/where-to-buy-galfer-products/).
