More On The $4000 RBoM SV Challenge This Coming Weekend At VIR

As a follow up to the information released on July 13, 2015 concerning the RBoM SV Challenge coming up this weekend at VIRginia International Raceway (https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/rbom-racing-hosting-4000-suzuki-sv650-challenge-august-2-at-vir/), a “heat race” format will be used on Saturday to determine Sunday’s grid positions. This will allow all Challenge competitors the opportunity to improve their starting spot for Sunday’s race, if they so desire.

The “heat race” and the Challenge will run in conjunction with WERA’s LWT Superbike class on each respective day and the event schedule can be found here: http://maps.wera.com/pdfs/2008Schedules/vir080215.pdf

WERA’s staff has been very supportive in tweaking their normal process to accommodate the SV Challenge as we expect a turnout of close to 30 SV racers for this event. An exciting mix of veteran SV racers along with some young up-and-coming future stars should make for an entertaining spectacle on August 2nd. Stay tuned for more updates.
