Suter Making Limited-Edition 500cc Two-Stroke Grand Prix Racebikes For Collectors And New Legends 500 Racing Series

Swiss engineering firm Suter Racing Technologies has announced plans to produce a limited number of ready-to-ride 500cc V4 two-stroke Grand Prix racebikes of the company’s own design that will be offered for sale to the public and plans to organize the Suter World GP Bike Legends racing series for these machines.

The Suter MMX 500, as it will be known, will be powered by an all-new motor featuring double counter-rotating crankshafts and fuel injection and producing a claimed 195 horsepower at 13,000 rpm while weighing just 127 kg (279 pounds). Prices start at 120,000 Swiss Francs, which is about $122,800 at post time. Only 99 of the machines will be produced.

Purchases of the Suter MMX 500 will include the opportunity to enter the bike in the World GP Bike Legends racing series.

Details of the World GP Bike Legends series were not included in Suter’s press kit.
