Cypress, CA – October 6, 2015 – Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., today announced the return of the FZ6R and SR400 sport motorcycles for the 2016 model year.

The FZ6R features a confidence-inspiring low seat height and adjustable handlebars, a torquey 600cc engine, and YZF-R6-inspired styling at a value price. For 2016, the FZ6R remains a perfect choice for riders who are looking for an entry-level or commuter 600cc motorcycle without compromising performance or style to get great value.

The 2016 FZ6R will be available in Raven for a suggested retail price of $7,790, and it will be available in dealerships beginning in November.

Heralding back to simpler times, the SR400 is a modern-day classic with retro styling and one of the best-performing, 399cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engines available. With plenty of opportunity for personalization, the SR400 has quickly become the preferred motorcycle of custom, café-style motorcycle builders.

The 2016 SR400 will be available in Onyx with a retail price of $5,990, and Yamaha dealerships will receive it beginning in October.
