The question arose when Roadracing World tested a kitted 2021 Ducati Streetfighter, which felt as fast as anything on the street and on the track, but on the dyno barely managed to clear 156 bhp at the rear wheel.

         For a machine that Ducati said put out 205 bhp at the crank, one that was fitted with a titanium race exhaust and mapped for the new pipe, it was a mystery…
