Robert Lewis Rentzell, the father of former Pro racer Kevin Rentzell, died early Thursday morning, November 12, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was 77.

Robert Rentzell was a plumber by trade and an auto and motorcycle enthusiast by choice, according to his official obituary. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Ann Rentzell and his sister Shirley Presley, and he is survived by sisters Ruth Faye Rentzell-Williams and Mary Lou True, sons Kevin and Stephen, and two granddaughters.

A visitation is scheduled to be held November 14 at Lane Funeral Home in Chattanooga at 2:00 p.m. local time with a memorial service following at 4:00 p.m. local time.
