FIM Endurance World Championship Teams Test In Mixed Conditions At Le Mans

24 HEURES MOTOS LE MANS PRE TEST

Despite two wet days in Le Mans, pre-season test gave a hint of various ambitions amongst teams.

First test day on mix conditions of track has been dominated by Team Kawasaki SRC with its new ZX-10R. The official Kawasaki bike heads Suzuki Endurance Racing Team who keeps optimizing its regular GSX-R. Current world champions are likely to face a raising competition.

Second day offered wet conditions only. The GMT94 Yamaha takes the best lap ahead of the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team. The Japanese team F.C.C. TSR Honda took his bearings on the circuit Bugatti and rides the best 3rd time in front of the Team April Moto Motors Events.

Honda Endurance Racing focused on set-up. “Our bike has developed a lot to fit endurance, says Sebastien Gimbert, Honda 111 rider. Target is race win.” Superstock teams have also showed performance, Yamaha Viltaïs in the first row. “We have worked a lot over the winter, says Viltaïs team manager Yannick Lucot, and we have recruited fast and experienced riders to target race win in Superstock.” Junior Team Le Mans Sud Suzuki, Team Louit Moto 33 Traqueur and Tati Team Beaujolais Racing are the main contenders.
