Stefano Mesa, Lucas Silva Each Win Four CCS Races At Homestead-Miami Speedway

Stefano Mesa won the Unlimited Grand Prix race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on his Westside Performance prepped, TTR Kawasaki ZX-10R. Mesa nailed the holeshot to claim the lead at the start of the race with Bruno Silva, Fernando Silva, and Felipe MacLean in hot pursuit. 

He continued to dominate until the final lap of the race when Bruno Silva made his passing move through turn eight and took over the lead.

Mesa quickly recovered and passed Silva through the turn eleven esses to take back the front spot and claim victory. Mesa ran the fastest lap of the race with a time of 01:24.385 during the second lap of the race.

Plagued by equipment issues earlier in the day,

Mesa won a total of four races including GTO, Heavyweight Supersport, and Middleweight Superbike. He finished second in GTU and Unlimited Superbike.

Lucas Silva tied with Mesa as the winningest expert of the weekend with four first place finishes. Silva won the GTU, Middleweight Supersport, Heavyweight Superbike, and Middleweight Grand Prix classes. He finished second in Heavyweight Supersport, and Middleweight Superbike.

The winningest Amateur of the event was newcomer Max Angles with a whopping eight victories. Angles won the Amateur GTU, Unlimited Supersport, Middleweight Supersport, Heavyweight Supersport, Middleweight Superbike, Heavyweight Superbike, Bridgestone Cup (combined),and Middleweight Grand Prix classes.
