Althea Racing and Raffaele De Rosa still together in 2017

Rome (Italy), Tuesday 17 January 2017

Althea Racing and Raffaele De Rosa have reached a sports cooperation agreement for 2017.

The strong Neapolitan rider, who won the 2016 STK 1000 FIM CUP and author of two brilliant performances in the last 2016 SBK Qatar round, will be part of the Althea Racing team.

Raffaele will participate in the development of the bike and will be present as a rider on several occasions during the SBK Championship alongside Jordi Torres and Markus Reiterberger.

His inclusion in the Althea Team for the year 2017 is the result of the excellent relationship between the team and the rider who have achieved together great successes in two years.

Genesio Bevilacqua

“I am very pleased to announce the continuation of the relationship with Raffaele who should be given credit for having always believed in our team. Despite not having from the very beginning a SBK bike for him, the team and I will work in function of his future in order to achieve the best possible results. I consider Raffaele a great rider capable of indicating the path of development; achieving my esteem and that of the whole team and I am sure he will prove to everyone the professional maturity reached after two years together.”

Raffaele de Rosa

“I am extremely happy to continue this partnership. My goal was to attend the entire SBK season; the team and I have invested all our energy for this purpose, however, it was not possible. I believe that this collaboration for 2017 is very good because it means that there is the will to carry out a common project.”
