AHRMA: Dave Roper Wins Vintage Cup Race Two At Laguna Seca

© 2020, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. From a press release issued By AHRMA:

On Sunday, February 9, AHRMA’s round two of the 2nd Annual Vintage Cup sponsored by Roadracing World (roadracingworld.com) and NYC Norton (nycnorton.com) featuring 500 Premier at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca was an exciting one.  Hot off his win on Saturday, Brian Larrabure was able to take the lead after a tight battle with Andrew Mauk and Dave Roper when on lap three Larrabure threw a belt and was out of the race.  With Brian out, Roper and Mauk swapped positions with Roper ultimately holding the lead for the last lap and taking the checkered flag.

Final results:

  1. David Roper (1970 HD Aermacchi ERTT)
  2. Andrew Mauk (1969 Honda CB 450)
  3. Stuart Carter (1968 Matchless G50)
  4. Brian Larrabure (1968 Seely G50)

AHRMA once again thanks Roadracing World and NYC Norton for their continued support.  The next two rounds will be held at Roebling Road Raceway near Savannah, Georgia in two weeks, on the weekend of February 22-23.
