Flat Track: New Xtreem Flat Track Series Launching In 2020

HOUSTON, Texas – – After three years of planning and development, the XTREEM FLAT TRACK SERIES is launching in 2020. Some of the nation’s fastest dirt track motorcycle racers will compete at a total of 25 events throughout the season. Racers will take on a combination of short tracks (1/4 mile or less) 3/8 mile, 1/2 mile, 5/8 mile and Mile size tracks.The XTREEM FLAT TRACK SERIES will offer racing for everyone from the top Professionals on twin-cylinder Harley’s, Indians, Yamaha’s and more, to the newest riders of the sport on 50cc motorcycles.

“Its time to get back to the roots Flat Track Motorcycle Racing,” said Jason Baffrey, Xtreem Flat Track Marketing Director. “We see the need for a national series where anybody, regardless of skill level has the opportunity to compete on good, safe tracks with any bike.”

“Our rules package creates an open playing field for riders. And, our fans have the chance to see some of the top touring pros, some of the fastest up and coming talent, the coolest and fastest vintage bikes,and the next generation of the sport,” said Baffrey. All children can hone their skills as 50cc, 65cc and 85cc racers race for FREE at every XTREEM FLAT TRACK event.

The XTREEM FLAT TRACK SERIES kicks off April 4, 2020 at the “Texas Fandango” in Fredericksburg, TX.  This is the largest Vintage motorcycle show and swap meet in the state of Texas, and will feature racing on a pristine 1/2 mile. April 18-19 sees the return of the “Ronnie Stratton Memorial” to the Waco Eagles 1/2 mile. On May 1, the XTREEM FLAT TRACK SERIES moves to the 3/8 mile in Pocola,OK for the “Steel Horse Rally”. The Steel Horse Rally is not only the fastest growing but also the only two state biker rally in the country, with Rally festivities taking place in downtown Ft. Smith, Arkansas. The famous Waco, TX 1/2 mile is on the schedule with 3 double header events at the Waco Eagles Club Grounds. On July 18-19, racers will battle on a short track in Billings, Montana for more than $10,000 in added purse money. Then, in August, XTREEM FLAT TRACK invades the world famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The series will feature three short track events at the Jackpine Gypsies Club Grounds as well as two 1/2 mile events at the Sturgis fairgrounds, which has hosted races since 1938. The city of Brady, TX will host two double header 5/8 mile races at the infamous G. Rollie White Downs complex. Corpus Christi’s L87 Speedway, the “Fastest little track” in Texas will also feature two double header events with the addition of a purpose built one-mile track in the works for the season finale.
