All Free Practice Three (FP3) sessions scheduled for
Saturday morning at the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas at Circuit of The
Americas have been canceled due to lightning in the area of the racetrack.

MotoAmerica’s Superbike FP3 session scheduled for 8:00 – 8:20
a.m. Central Daylight Time was canceled earlier Saturday due to heavy rain, localized
flooding, and lightning, and those same conditions initially postponed all of MotoGP’s
FP3 sessions.

The rain stopped and the MotoGP schedule was due to resume
with Moto3 FP3 at 11:00 a.m., but more lightning has caused the schedule to be
revised further.

We will update this post with more information as it becomes
available.

Update: At 11:31 a.m. CDT heavy rains and strong winds have returned to COTA. The schedule for the remainder of the day remains To Be Determined (TBD).

Second Update: It’s 12:35 p.m. CDT and the Moto3 class is heading out for Qualifying Session One.
