ZARS Shootout And Rider Challenge Series: Tony Storniolo Wins GP 3/4 Expert Races At Road America

Elkhart Lake, WI – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) recently held its Shootout and Rider Challenge Championship Series on May 27 at Elkhart Lake’s Road America.

The event was held prior to Moto America and attracted top racers from across the USA and Mexico. The series stop was presented by Blown Concepts and awarded over $800 in cash prizes to the top finishers in each of the 4 classes.

In the expert ranks, Disrupt Racing Team’s Tony Storniolo rode strong and took the checkered flag in an impressive manner for GP 3/4 with Charles Burton IV respectively in 2nd. In GP 1/2, Dairy Boys Racing Team’s Tim Koebert battled and took with the win with Shawn Hill and Nick Uselmann rounding off the podium.

In the Novice ranks, Jesse Hwinka led the field to victory for GP 3/4 and Ike Ozurumba edged out Brady Fors for the GP 1/2 win.

ZARS hosted the kick off to the Rider Challenge. The Rider Challenge provides experienced track day riders with an opportunity to participate in a spirited sprint! Christian Nemes clinched another win to continue his domination into 2019.

ZARS heads to Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minnesota, for the next ZARS Advanced Riding Schools on June 1, 15, 23, followed by Moto Jam at Brainerd International Raceway, June 29-30.
