HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES ANNOUNCES FS 450 MY16-18 MODEL RECALL

FS 450 BIKES OF MODEL YEARS 2016, 2017 & 2018 TO BE CHECKED AT AUTHORIZED HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES DEALERS.

VALID FOR ALL MARKETS

Husqvarna Motorcycles today announced the recall of 2016, 2017 & 2018 FS 450 machines due to possible deviations in the production process of the Brembo front radial brake master cylinders piston.

An official recall has been made by Brembo SpA, a leader in the production of disc brake systems for vehicles, explaining that possible defects to the piston of the front radial brake master cylinder (diameter 15mm) are the reason for all FS 450s needing to be checked.

Customers who own one of the affected motorcycles are being informed by a personal letter and asked to immediately contact an authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to arrange an appointment for inspection and replacement. All work by authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers will be carried out at no cost to FS 450 owners.

In addition, all Husqvarna owners can check online in the ‘Service’ area of Husqvarna Motorcycles’ website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall.

Further info on all authorized dealers can be found on the ‘Dealer Section’ of Husqvarna Motorcycles’ website.
