Race Results From The ZARS Shootout May 28 At Road America

Elkhart Lake, WI (May 31) – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) recently held the Shootout Championship and Rider Challenge Championships Series and Track Days, May 28.

The event was held at Elkhart Lake’s Road America days before the Moto America races. The Shootout Series attracted several top racers including Caroline Olsen, Scott Stall and Kyle Ohnsorg. The series presented by Twisted Light awarded over $600 in cash prizes to the top finishers in each of the classes.

On May 28, Kyle Ohnsorg was victorious in our Expert GP 3/4 with Scott Stall in 2nd and Tom Girard in 3rd. In Expert GP 1/2 Tim Koebert took the checkered flag with Anthony Lambert in 2nd and Ryan Nolan in 3rd.

In the Novice ranks Justin Miest rode strong for his first championship win in GP 3/4 and Ike Ozurumba raced in his first race sprint ever and was victorious!

ZARS continues to broaden the riding opportunities with the Rider Challenge for experienced Track Day riders. Two winners were crowned, Steve Yang took the win in GP3/4 and Keith Leishman took the win in GP 1/2 !

ZARS heads next to Brainerd International Raceway (Minnesota), June 23-24, 2018, for the Lakes Jam Track Fest.
