Had some fun, got in a good fitness training ride then spent the rest of the time practicing to get back into the swing of things. Hope it won't be too long before I'm right back where I was.

Completed the loop, pushed harder today and knocked nearly 2 minutes off my previous best time. Rode back up a little bit for a hard sprint back down and to have a little bit of fun. It was a good ride. I keep noticing improvements in my stamina, leg strength and control each time I ride.

did a couple quick loops. mainly the point was get my new Hayes Stroker Ace brakes dialed in and the pads bedded in. The new brakes are fantastic so far. So much more stopping power than my previous set up. Really excited to get out to some real trail and put them to the test.

Same ride as yesterday. This time I dropped my seat all the way to help prevent me from sitting while pedaling. Did 75% of the pedaling standing up. That was a leg killer. After 1 loop I rode back up part of it to have a little extra fun once I turned around. Its a pretty smooth section of trail and it can be really fast. Some jumps built in, but until my arms are fully healed back up I am staying away from them for now. Still fun though. Glad that I can get some good riding in.

Improved on the XC ride compared to the last. ride. Its nice to ride to get back into shape. Still anxious to get back on the DH bike though. 3 more weeks and I'll be good.

First time riding the hardtail on dirt. Been a long time since I've ridden a bike up the trail. Usually hiking and having fun back down. It was a good ride to assess where I'm at what I need to do to improve my fitness.

Trails are finally drying out up there. A tree did fall over at the bottom blocking the trail, but there is a way around it. It was a good ride today even though my legs were sore and tired from Demo yesterday.

Had a good training ride. Stiffened up my rear shock to get some pedaling in. Completely worked the legs and lungs today but had a good time while doing it. Even with the recent rain, the trail was in pretty good condition and not too sloppy. Only a couple mud puddles that were like peanut butter. Had a good time and now I'm just waiting on my new grips, stem and gloves to come in from Answer Components! Can't wait for those and then I'll be back out there shredding some more.
