Vortex Racing makes final push to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research with "VORTEX PINK CAMPAIGN"

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - Vortex Racing, an industry leader in motorcycle racing components, announced today that it is making its final push to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research with its inaugural, Vortex PINK Campaign™ during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. October 31, 2012 is the last day to purchase this limited edition pink sprocket...that is until next October.

Since launching the Vortex PINK Campaign™, Vortex has seen an unprecedented outpouring of support from some of the world's most respected racers including 2012 superbike and sportbike champions, Josh Hayes and Martin Cardenas, who both ran the Vortex PINK Campaign CAT 5 Sprocket at NOLA this year. The grassroots support was downright staggering to Matt Griffin, founder and president of Vortex Racing.

"When we launched this endeavor, we had no idea that people were going to get behind this thing with the passion that they did. Pros, privateers, amateurs, teams and enthusiasts rallied behind us on Facebook, Twitter, at races, on the road and on the phone. I am blown away and deeply touched. The outpouring of support has truly moved me and I look forward to making the Vortex PINK Campaign™ an annual event," says Griffin.

Vortex Racing has committed to donating 25% of its net sales of the Vortex CAT 5 PINK Campaign Sprocket™ to Breast Cancer Research.

The CAT 5 PINK Campaign Sprocket™ is still available for purchase by phone order only at 800.440.3559 until 5 PM MDT October 31, 2012. Available for all current Vortex sprocket applications.
