RoadRace Factory And M1 PowerSports Launch "Be A Pro GoPro Challenge" Fan Video Sweepstakes

RoadRace Factory and M1 PowerSports Announce "Be a Pro GoPro Challenge" Fan Video Sweepstakes for Triumph Big Kahuna Miami AMA Pro Nationals

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - M1 PowerSports and RoadRace Factory, one of the newest and most competitive teams in the GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing paddock, will be holding a fan video sweepstakes at the M1 PowerSports-promoted Triumph Big Kahuna Miami presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince, scheduled for September 21-23, 2012 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The "Be a Pro GoPro Challenge" will give fans at this weekend's AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike doubleheader the chance to direct and star in their very own fan experience film. GoPro HD HERO2 cameras will be checked out to fans so that they can capture every exciting moment in stunning HD video, and each video submitted will count as an entry for a chance to win a prize pack of motorcycle accessories and discounts from some of RoadRace Factory's top sponsors.

"This is an exciting way for fans to get engaged at this weekend's AMA Pro National," said Danny Walker, team principal of RoadRace Factory. "GoPro cameras allow you to capture video from amazing viewpoints, and the end result is always fantastic quality. I can't wait to see what our Miami fans come up with by the end of the weekend!"

In order to check out a GoPro camera and participate in the "Be a Pro GoPro Challenge," all that is needed is a driver's license and credit card. Cameras can be checked out at the M1 PowerSports Official Event Merchandise tent in the GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing paddock at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and each entrant will have one hour to shoot. Videos only need to be five minutes in length, so it's important to be selective with each shot in order to capture the essence of the Big Kahuna experience.

Once the one-hour time limit for filming is up, the GoPro HD HERO2 must be returned to the M1 PowerSports Official Event Merchandise tent in the paddock. Videos will be reviewed and then uploaded to the RoadRace Factory Facebook Page, located at

RoadRace Factory's Facebook fans will choose the top videos so, in order to vote, fans are encouraged to Like RoadRace Factory on Facebook and direct all of their friends to do the same. The top three videos that receive the most Likes on RoadRace Factory's Facebook page by Sunday, September 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET will be declared "Be a Pro GoPro Challenge" finalists. The prize pack awarded to the first-place winner of the Challenge will include a GoPro HD HERO2, a Bell Helmet, a discount coupon for a LeoVince Exhaust System and a Dion Device Brake Lever Guard.

Over the past 15 years, American Supercamp has trained most of the top American road racers using a core philosophy: the key to advancing a rider's skill is to have them push the limits of themselves and their machinery. During that time, American Supercamp chief honcho Danny Walker has often been approached about instructing a Road Race School, but felt it would be very difficult to get students to be able to push their limits and advance their skills on a standard road course using full-size race bikes without the consequences of a mistake being severe. RoadRace Factory School has been designed specifically to allow riders to push their limits, understand their reflexes and modify their riding habits in an environment where the consequences of mistakes have been minimized. Utilizing the Yamaha WR250F's on smaller, slow road racing courses allows the riders to do just that. RoadRace Factory, the one and only road racing school where it is okay and accepted to fall down.
